Didn't see the game as I was at the Tower of London (not banged up for treason... yet). Delighted to see the result when I got on the train. Sublime free kick from Messi followed by Salah missing a pretty much open goal. Miles apart as players, utterly glorious.
For one of the first times in my life I shall be supporting Newcastle on Saturday night. Howay the lads.

Barcelona's defence as was real Madrid's in last years final superior to Liverpool's. They spent a fortune to make sure this didn't happen again . thought Liverpool's midfield did very well , but these days the Barcelona midfield is one of there weakest in 15 years . don't think Liverpool are as good as last year , just more consistent same as man city .

Weirdly they did actually play quite well and both Mane and Salah missed absolute sitters.
Then there's this little fella called Messi who is one of the greatest players of all time and playing well suddenly all counts for shit :o)

I genuinely felt Liverpool played well but not taking your chances (which changes the dynamic of the game) will come back to bite which it did with the brilliance of Messi, also mention for Suarez detestably great. Liverpool did have them rattled as the temperature rose in the game.
Also i thought the referee let the game flow where in other games there would have been a plethora of cards.

Been out so not watched the game but all I am reading is Liverpool saying how well they played.
